Tempus Restaurant is located within the Palace Hotel, an iconic Mancunian landmark, recognised by the tall clock tower which presides over the magnificent Grade II listed building.
The impressive interior of the hotel’s restaurant makes for a sophisticated dining experience that combines comfort, style, taste and quality as standard. With dark, richly glazed decorative titles, complemented by the flicker of a candle in the evening, Tempus sets an ambience for any occasion, be it a private dining for smaller parties, or a pre-theatre meal. Our mission is to simply deliver mouth watering cuisine that caters to the dietary needs of our guests.

The Palace Hotel’s Tempus Restaurant has an extensive policy for Health and Sustainability (available to download on their website) which demonstrates a commitment to Truly Good Food’s values of restaurants having an awareness of their impact on the environment.
Tempus Restaurant menu strives to ‘Stay British’ as much as possible with seasonal menus/specials.
All eggs used are free range and sourced from North West suppliers as is all dairy produce. All meat is from a British supplier.
The restaurant does not use an trans fat and favours poaching and steaming as cooking methods. Each meal served as a complete and balanced meal, designed to contain all the essential intake for a balanced diet.
Everything on the menu can be cooked fresh in children’s portions-smaller or half sizes.
All staff are briefed on the menu each day to ensure that they can advise customers about the origin of the ingredients.
